    • The Western India States Cricket Association, which played in the Ranji Trophy from 1934-35 to 1945-46, was rechristened the Kathiawar Cricket Association in 1946-47. It played in the Ranji Trophy under the new name till 1949-50, In 1950-51, it merged with the Nawanagar Cricket Association, which played in the Ranji Trophy from 1936-37 to 1947-48, to form the Saurashtra Cricket Association.
