England earned the distinction of becoming the seventh country to play 500 ODIs at Indore. India have played the most with 698.
Yuvraj Singh’s hundred is the eleventh by an Indian batsman against England. He became the sixth batsman to register three or more one-day hundreds against then, joining Sanath Jayasuriya (four), Mahela Jayawardene four), Dean Jones (three), Ricky Ponting (three) and Vivian Richards (three).
Yuvraj Singh joins three Indian batsmen on ten or more one-day hundreds. Sachin Tendulkar (42), Sourav Ganguly (22) and Rahul Dravid (12), being the others.
Stuart Broad becomes the only England bowler to capture four wickets on two occasions against India. Along with his 4-55 in this game, he had taken 4-51 at Manchester in 2007.
Yuvraj Singh becomes the fourth batsman to register five or more hundreds on Indian soil. The other two are Sachin Tendulkar (16) and Rahul Dravid (six) and West Indies' Chris Gayle (six).
Gautam Gambhir (70), Yuvraj Singh (118) and Yousuf Pathan (50 not out) all registered fifties in this game providing the eighth instance of three or more Indian batsmen reaching this mark against England in an ODI.
Ian Bell becomes the third England opener to be dismissed run out on two or more occasions against India. The other two are Greame Fowler and Nick Knight on three occasions. Ian Bell’s two run outs, by coincidence, have come at the same venue. He was also dismissed run out at Indore in 2006.

Stuart Broad (4-55) and Yuvraj Singh (4-28) both captured four wickets in this match; only the fourth instance of rival bowlers capturing four-plus wickets in the same match in an India-England one-day series. Yuvraj Singh became the second batsman to aggregate 1000-plus runs against England, after Sachin Tendulkar, with 1274 runs. Yuvraj reached the mark when he was on 58 during his innings of 118.
