INDIA V ENGLAND: UPDATE
Monday 17, November 2008
England reached 72-1 off 15 overs in reply to India's imposing 292-9 in the second ODI at Indore. Number three Owais Shah was unbeaten on 37 and Matt Prior on 30, the pair restoring their side's innings after the loss of Ian Bell with only six on the board. The blond-haired opener was brilliantly run out by Suresh Raina's diving throw from extra cover in the first over of England's reply.
With the initial powerplay overs now complete, the skill of the tourists in handling spin will dictate how close they get to India's total.
